Chef Aarón Sánchez is a two-time cookbook author, a cookware product designer, co-star of the Food Network’s hit series Chopped (among other cooking shows), and oh yeah, restaurateur. Last July he added to his restaurant empire with the opening of Paloma in Harbor Point and the eatery quickly became a staple of our area’s dining scene.
We had a chance to visit the eatery and were treated to a culinary journey through their new Summer menu.
The lively, Latin-inspired grill showcases Sánchez’s diverse approach to cooking. It features a range of offerings, from whole roasted meats on the restaurant’s wood grill to an extensive raw bar. Ceviche, grilled seafood, and a variety of shareable plates are available. Paloma offers a wide range of classic and contemporary cocktails as well. Representing a wide selection of handcrafted spirits from Central and South America, including tequila, mezcal, pisco, cachaca, and rum.
