Dan Biederman of Chappaqua has been retained by Building and Land Technology of Stamford to bring improvements and programming to Harbor Point, the large mixed-use district on the Long Island Sound waterfront.
Biederman, the President of Biederman Redevelopment Ventures in New York gained national attention for transforming Bryant Park in New York City and building new parks and public spaces all over the country. At Harbor Point, BRV will begin in 2016 with programming and events, at both Commons Park and the waterfront. BRV will also begin planning streetscape improvements that will include signage, lighting, and horticulture to better tie the neighborhood together and upgrade it visually. All of these improvements aim to increase the overall attraction of living and working in the Harbor Point area.
